International Media Operations Department under NBCUniversal wanted to develop their teams visibility in the company through an illustration showcasing what they do.

Solution | The isometric building design displays how different department teams collaborate through connected platforms and staircases on a horizontal banner. The tech-forward yet approachable style creates a flexible system where colleagues can use individual elements separately for various applications. |
Results | I'm pleased to receive a lot of positive feedback on the illustration from colleagues and senior leadership team. It is confirmed that this illustration will be printed out officially to be displayed in the office. |

The concept started off with a map. By going through the concept with the Director of EMEA Operations and presenting in senior leadership meetings, the isometric style is decided as a team agreement and my design advice based on the format limitations.
☞ Learnings
Constraints sparks creativity. Creativity is about adapting to limitations.
The slim, horizontal banner format limits the illustration layout. But from a different perspective, I will never have thought of creating an horizontal isometric "building" like illustration if the format isn't limited to be in this format. Limitations forces me out of my comfort zone and challenge myself on a project I have never tried before.
